Gear Measurement
General
- Profile, bearing area and roughness measurement
- Universally usable, since suitable for (almost) all gear types
- Automated measurement system
- Structure, pit measurement at the root
- Comparison between true data and drawing contour + texture
- Optimisation of the gear flank micro structure
- Problem evaluation and assistance for optimisation
- Head and root cone measurement, pits, scuffing
- Spur pinions, crown gears, conical gear wheels, spur toothed or helical gearing
Technical Data
Design features
Modular setup on a granite base plate. Using a 4-D measurement unit both tooth flanks are measured in the tooth gaps in one measurement run. When measuring a spiral gearing the measurement block will be slanted.
The pick up is protected by a suitable housing.
Spur gear

Measurement direction: radial. After each profile line the gear is rotated by a suitable angle and also moved vertically. The part is fixed in the hole. The position with respect to roundness, wobble, run out is taken into account when calculating the surface topography.
